I was lucky enough to talk about this last year in an article for the Mumbai Mirror. They decided to highlight about the people who were on the other side of the scale. It made me so happy about the fact that there is someone who thought about the minority. I was maybe still am somewhere part of that minority.
The fact of life is no matter how much you weight, the majority of people aren't happy with it! Either they want to lose a bit or gain a bit or are stressing over to keep it constant. The first step would be to start loving your body the way it is. And then you can move forward with it.
What people need to understand here is that the ones who look skinny or "perfect in shape" or are always compared to a stick figure don't always have that body on them by choice. I am one of those who no matter what they eat, doesn't really put on and sure it's a blessing. However, I would like to have a bit of fat and muscles in the right places and it is difficult to do so.
And it's the same with certain people who even though don't eat much gain a lot of weight and get bullied for it.
First things first how is it affecting anyone else on what a person weighs or looks like? So where does the question of bullying comes from? If it isn't affecting you what gives you the right to say mean things or joke about them and affect them.
Let people love themselves, if you make it even more difficult it's not going to help anyone.
No matter on what side of the scale you are don't think that the people on the other side have nothing to worry about. Like they say the grass is always greener on the other side.
