Not Yoshi! Don't you dare eat Yoshi! I am talking about the frog that Brian Tracy is talking about in his book "Eat That Frog!"
This book is so so so gooooood!!
It talks about procrastination and how to overcome it. There are 21 ways to do so and I will be honest with you and won't say I am absolutely done procrastinating. However, there are a few things that this book teaches you which absolutely stays with you and creates an impact in your mind.
It's not just about procrastination but the tiny little tricks and tips and life lessons it gives you are amazing. For me, a particular paragraph that stood out was
"Imagine each day that you have just received an emergency message and that you will have to leave town tomorrow for a month. If you have to leave town for a month, what would you make absolutely sure that you got done before you left? Whatever your answer, go to work on that task right now."
And it made so much sense and this would leave you with so much time in your hand as well. If you need everything that was important for a month by the beginning of it imagine the more things you could work on and new things one could learn because now they don't have to worry about finishing that particular task.
Like the previous book, I reviewed this one isn't more than a little over 100 pages. So it is a light and quick read at the same time an eye-opener.
I have this one rule about any book even if it teaches me one thing out of I don't know how many ever page it has it is a worth a buy and a keeper for me! Let's see if Eat That Frog! is a keeper for you?
Love,
D
P.S – Brian Tracy the author of the book will be conducting a seminar in Mumbai on March 17th, 2018. I will be attending it. If anyone else wishes to here is the link http://nacindia.co/ where you can have a look at it (not a promotion just a personal piece of information).
